The Rib Diaries
November ‘23
G'dayduction – We continue with our meatalicious rib diary blog, this time auf der deutsch inspirierten Last Drop in Beeliar, where our lack of culinary expertise continues to shine.
Critter meat – BBQ Prok Ribs - $45
Appearance – Immediate arousal just at the succulent look of juicy tenderness of the ribs... The rest of the dish was pretty average
Sauce / seasoning – Moisted with the Last Drop’s Pale Ale beer BBQ glaze
Sniff test – Like all good sniffers, this factor of a tucker plate can’t be disregarded. Romantic, just romantic.
Tucker buddies – Small piece of charred corn that was pretty dry, no doubt would have ended up as delivered in the toilet. Chips and salad were as typical as a Chinese man in China.
Pros
- Homemade Pale Ale BBQ glaze!
- Melt in your mouth meat
- Moist
Cons
- While orse, meatiness of the ribs could have fared better
- Could have had better quality siders and more ribs for the price
Naked recommendations
- Naturally, more ribs!
- Throw some better German tucker buddies – Kartoffelpuffer, Gurkensalat, Sauerkraut
